A temporary event notice (TEN) can be used to hold one-off licensable events at unlicensed premises (Up to 499 people) without the need for a premises licence, club premises certificate or the presence of a personal licence holder, provided certain criteria are met. They can also be used to temporarily extend the hours or activities permitted by a premises licence or club premises certificate.
